Patriotic Apple with Hydrangeas Centerpiece

'As American as an Apple Pie' goes the saying. A fresh-baked apple pie can by itself be the perfect centerpiece for a Fourth of July table but there are little chances of it remaining there for long. Choose longer lasting apples instead and add a dash of blue with the favorite flowers of summer - hydrangeas.

Stack a mix of varieties of apples in a white plate. Add blue by tucking in hydrangeas between the spaces in apples. You may also add miniature flag picks available for appetizers.
