Fourth of July CraftsRed,
White and Blue Wind Chime
This
easy to make chime will add a patriotic flair to any front porch.
What you will need: 1. Cheap wooden wind chime
2. Red, white and blue acrylic paint
3. Fishing wire
4. Craft foam sheets in red, white and blue
5. Sewing needle
6. Scissors Directions:
1. Begin by cutting the wooden chimes off of the original holders.
2. Paint each chime. Paint one red, another blue and one white. If you
have more than three paint them as well, but try to keep the number of
red, white and blue chimes equal for the best look.
3. While the chimes are drying, cut stars out of the foam sheets.
4. Paint the chimes with another coat and allow them to dry. 5.
Using fishing line and the needle thread one star on each piece of
fishing wire for the chimes.
6. Thread the wire through the chimes and re-attach to the holder.
7. You may also want to thread a couple of large stars at the
bottom of the chime.
